Ward’s Bridge Inn Celebrates 10-Year Anniversary

Montgomery, N.Y. – The historic family-owned and operated Ward’s Bridge Inn is kicking off its 10-year anniversary celebration this month in Montgomery.

Ward’s Bridge Inn, often referred to as “Montgomery’s living room”, serves as a local favorite for diners across the Hudson Valley, and has been voted the #1 best restaurant in Montgomery by the Times Herald Record Readers’ Choice Awards two years in a row. It is also ranked #1 out of 27 restaurants in Montgomery by Trip Advisor.

The Pskowski family bought the business, CB Driscoll’s, ten years ago in a building that dates back to 1810. The building needed extensive renovation, but eventually the Pskowski family brought it back to its earlier glory. They immediately reverted it back to the establishment’s previous name, Ward’s Bridge Inn, which once had a reputation as a grand establishment.

“As a kid, I was always enamored by local establishments and the comradery that they built within the community,” said Brian Pskowski, who runs the establishment with his wife, Melissa, and mother, Pat. “We wanted to create a relaxed environment where folks could come have a drink, enjoy a good meal, and be treated like family. That’s what Ward’s Bridge Inn is all about.”

Today, diners can feast from a quality lunch or dinner menu while enjoying the restaurant’s charm and cozy ambiance. The kitchen is run by CIA trained Executive Chef Craig Roper, who has been a driving force in the restaurant’s success from the beginning.

“Craig’s extensive knowledge of food amazes me, and he’ll only select the highest quality, locally sourced ingredients for each menu,” said Pskowski, whose family has been in the Montgomery for over 40 years. “His creativity and culinary skills make for delicious plates that keep customers coming back for more.”
